Acupuncture & Sports Injuries

I am so excited to be a guest blogger today on Andie the Fit Geek’s awesome blog. Andie & I rocked the world of Kinesiology together as Western University students. Now we are both pursuing our dreams of health and wellness.

Andie is a fabulous personal trainer, marathon runner (she just qualified for Boston!!!), and is expanding her nutrition education by entering the Registered Holistic Nutrition program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. She also runs a really great bootcamp in Toronto called Fit Streets – and she totally kicked by butt! You can find her on Facebook & Twitter, too.

On her blog today I have discussed the use of acupuncture for treating trigger points in sports injuries. I absolutely love that acupuncture is a facet of naturopathic medicine. It is extremely effective, especially for sports injuries.

Check out my post and please let me know what you think. I’ll be hosting Andie as a guest blogger on my site in July so stay tuned.

And, of course, if you want to take advantage of these services be sure to book an appointment with me at the RSNC.
